“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” – Pablo Picasso
Inspired by the act and concept of reuse, repurpose and recycle, I strive to bring old or discarded things to new light. Collage is about juxtaposition and interpretation. I love the hands-on exploration and discovery of collage and assemblage that inevitably leads to surprise compositions along the way. I draw inspiration from my family history, my travels and hikes, and my sketchbooks.
Celebrate Spring, In the Meadow and Wild Sweet are in the new rotation of collages at the Arts of Snohomish Gallery in Snohomish, WA.
